Directory Monitoring lets you monitor Windows directories and Outlook directories and perform predefined actions when new files exist in these directories.
So any Exchange filing rules can be created, e.g. import new files into the folders you specify, which are assigned a specific label and document status.
This offers almost unlimited possibilities to fully automatically record, tag and save files of any kind in PaperOffice.
In addition, and not by default, PaperOffice also provides support for XML control files.
New directories can be defined, which are monitored by the folder monitoring for new files in real time. So you can decide if a Windows directory or e.g. an Outlook folder should be monitored.
For each monitored folder one or more rules can be activated depending on the type of monitoring.
After files have been assigned, rules created and files added, these are stored in appropriate PaperOffice folders and given properties.
You can assign pre-made filing workflows to your PaperOffice QR Codes to perform intelligent sorting.
