- Open with PaperOffice PDF-Viewer: Opens the selected PDF document or other PDF document which is available in the current document list with the integrated in PaperOffice PDF-Viewer. PDF-Viewer is the integrated viewer for PDF documents.
- Open file with ...: Opens the currently selected document or the document in the document list with the program, which you specify in the next step.
- Edit file with ...: You can check out the currently selected document or another and edit it with different programs. PaperOffice automatically detects if something has changed on the document and versions it after it has been checked in again.
- Edit with WorkBench: The powerful and innovative PaperOffice WorkBench allows direct editing of already in PaperOffice stored documents or documents, which are available in electronic format. So, for example, you can change the order of document pages, merge multiple documents, create new documents from individual pages of already existing documents, using various editing tools, such as Paint, erase or blacken page contents. The edited document can then be saved as a new document, printed, emailed, faxed or exported as a PDF. Here, the original document is edited and versioned after saving.
- Make a copy in PaperOffice WorkBench: Makes a copy of this document in WorkBench. The difference to the previously described function is that the source document is not edited. Is recommended, if you want to create a new document based on existing one.
- Copy text recognition to Windows clipboard: Copies the text recognized by SmartSpell text recognition to the Windows clipboard.
- Add to favorites: Adds the currently selected document to your favorites list. The user's favorites are displayed in the folder view in the top left corner. A "copy" of the selected document is placed in the Favorites folder, the original of the added document remains in the existing PaperOffice folder.
- Add to watch list: Adds the currently selected document to your watch list. The user's watch list is displayed in the folder view in the top left corner. A "copy" of the selected document is placed in the watchlist folder, the original of the added document remains in the existing PaperOffice folder.
- Connect to a contact: Connects the currently selected document to a contact
- Disconnect from a contact: Disconnects the selected document from a contact, if already connected to a contact.
- Export File: Exports the selected file to the Windows file directory.
- Send with PaperOffice ShareHub: ShareHub is the intelligent hub for securely sending your documents. Thus, in the next step after selecting the recipient data, you can also select the cover page / cover letter and request the confirmation via receipt.
- Properties: Opens the properties of the currently selected document.
- Delete permanently: Permanently deletes the currently selected document from your database. Please note that the document and all related data will be permanently deleted and the process can not be reversed.
Direct embedding as object (Subfunction 1 from 8)
All newly added files and documents are added as an object and optimized for storage in the current document folder. So, all different types of files and documents can be added and simultaneously managed.

Add from scanner

Easily add paper documents to your currently selected folder via your scanner, or import scanned documents from a directory (Scan2Folder) or your cloud provider. The scanned new documents are immediately inserted into the currently opened folder and displayed in the document list.
Insert files from the hard disk or network (Subfunction 4 from 8)
Via the above button with the plus sign, you can add files from your local hard disk or network to the currently opened (selected) folder. You can also simply drag and drop the file into the appropriate area. To read in folder structures / folders with content, go to the context menu of the individual folder.
Add Office documents (Subfunction 5 from 8)
Office documents can be easily added via Menu above. Or just drag and drop the desired Office file from your file system into the appropriate area, the file will be added to the currently selected / opened PaperOffice folder and will appear in the document list.
Context Menu with RapidEdit-technology (RET) (Subfunction 8 from 8)
All used document actions can be accessed with a simple right mouse click through the context menu. The intelligent RapidEdit technology (RET) even allows direct editing of the files that were not clicked on. RET ensures that all specified specifications are kept up-to-date.
